This is a lovely picture of these two boys. I just don't know how you get your pastels so smooth. It's just hard to believe that it is a pastel at all.What paper do you use? I expect the person who commissioned this must be really pleased I know I would be.

I use a combination of pastel pencils (carb othello by Stabilo and Unison pastels. Hi Trevor have now looked at your web site and you have some lovely pastel paintings as well as watercolours I didn't realise you did both. If I do get going with the paper you mentoned I will certainly let you know and who knows I may even have one good enough to put on the site.
