I wouldn't be so critical of yourself Robert, this is good. I think you have got the snow capped mountains just right. This is a difficult scene to capture and Rannoch Moor is such a beautiful place that a painting can never be a substitute for being there. Having said that you've done a good job in reminding me of a drive over the moor some years ago, thanks!

Watercolour painting using Rembrandt watercolours on Schoellershammer No. 10 coarse grained paper. Size 50 x 40 cm. Painted from a recent trip (mid March) . This is the follow up from the Ben Lomond picture posted earlier this evening. I just flashed this one off (2 hours) to release some anger at my last attempt. I don't think it's an improvemnet but at least the brushes got a work out. Maybe its the paper, any excuse. As they say, things can only get better.
