Very stong texture here - Saunders Waterford, you say..... but what grade, weight etc? It doesn't look like watercolour paper at all....what accounts for the very fine grain?

140 lb not pressed, the grain comes from the camera setting which was obviously the wrong setting.

Another painting done from an on site sketch in Solva harbour at low tide. Although there were several other boats in the harbour I decided to concentrate on just one and also just hinted at the background. This kept the interest centred on the boat in the foreground. Painted on Saunders Waterford paper using Rembrandt watercolours.
