Keep em coming Robert - they are cool.

Thank you for posting these. I find them so fresh and colourful.

Love the loose watercolour - did you find that drawing this way made you apply the paint more loosely than normal. I have found that and so have others. These are super sketches and even more impressive because of the lack of looking. Have you tried the one liner, but with your photo reference and paper upside down (in effect, you draw the subject upside down and only reveal what you have produced when you turn it the right way) - it's great fun and a great learning tool.

I just love your scooter sketches Robert, full of character. Mine was a Lambretta....many years ago!

Thank you all for looking and commenting. I really enjoyed the challenge and really surprised myself when I looked down to see what I had produced. It really does lead to a loose style and the only way to paint it was loosely. Yes Thea I have tried the upside down method and it turned out really well (horse racing was the subject) however the sketch is at work- lunchtime doodle. I may post it next week. Yes it is great fun.

More and more artists are joining in this challenge and it's so interesting to see the wonderful spontaneous drawings being produced. This is excellent!

These scooters make for great one liners, just remembered I have one in the garage with more junk! Had it since 70's. No I'm not a mod or a rocker, have a job at my age ;))

One liner without looking at the paper. Watercolour loose colour added after.
