Loosestrife in the sun
Sneaking through a soon to be defunct patch of woodland ( where houses will shortly grow in lieu of trees) I came into a small clearing and was struck by the sun illuminating a patch of purple loosestrife ( I did try to idenify it via Google, could be wrong, please correct me if I am). This is a loose rendition, based on a minds eye image and a reference photo. In acrylic on unstretched canvas
