Argh. You have reminded me of the challenge I set myself earlier this year; a self-portrait ... I like hte quizzical look. I suspect a self-portrait will always have an odd expression. I took a couple of selfies with my new glasses yesterday. Hmmm

I have been learning some sight size measuring techniques in my local U3A drawing group, this led me to have a go at a portrait in oils, what better subject than my own age ravaged face LOL. For this picture I used a primed and sealed wood panel and Artisan water miscible oils.
