Under the walkway, Sheringham [SOLD]
While on holiday I was taking an evening stroll around Sheringham, the sun was just beginning to go down and the light caught these boats just right. After a couple of photos, I completed the picture back home a week or so later. I tinted the paper first with a wash of raw sienna, lifting out the white hulls of the main boats. A number of wet in wet washes followed, I then let it dried before adding details, the shadows are slightly exaggerated to enhance the light effects. I was pretty pleased with the result.
