Highly commended by judges from the leisure painter TALP open competition - Rebecca has built up thin layers of acrylic to capture the beauty of the monarch butterflies. Rebecca has used a range of brushes and techniques to achieve that smooth, blurred background look, with precision blending and brushstrokes to capture intricate details within the wings. These stunning creatures are on the endangered species list, this inspired me to create a voice for the littlest part of nature.
