Very familiar with this lovely view as it is near where my daughter lives. You have painted this so skilfully and I particularly love the surf lapping unto the sand. Wonderful work Rebecca.

Thank you for all of your lovely comments, Tynemouth is such a beautiful sight for anyone to see especially on a sunny day. The extra little details took alot of build up with the smallest brush known to man but it was definitely worth it.

Rebecca has captured a peaceful scene of tynemouth priory on a warm summers day, using acrylic she has built up layers and hatching to capture the texture of the ocean. Tynemouth has been a place constant in Rebecca's life and she holds many fond memories, in this beautiful landscape she has captured the sea foam resting on the bay, she has used fine brushwork to replicate the movement of the water as it hits the sand.
