Rebecca has painted a study of a succulent from her home, she has used watercolour to build up thin layers of colour capturing this natural form. Rebecca is curious how such intricate patterns and forms, naturally appear in nature and wanted to capture this within her piece. She ha sbuilt up a range of botanical greens and small brushstrokes to replicate the colours and smooth texture on the succulent.
