than k you very much Dennis and Carole the type of monkry is a stump tailed nacaque, sometimes slso cakked 'ugly monkys' i'm not sure about thhe ugly bit as i think they sre rsther cute

There are a lot of monkeys in Kathmandu and most of them congregate in this temple. The monkeys appear to be stump-tailed macaques. They have very expressive faces and this one was sticking its tongue out.
