I had to look it up also Thalia……I sometimes prefer the under painting than the finished thing. I’ve got one on the easel now and I’m reluctant to go any further with it! Love the dark tones in your still life.

A 50 minute demonstration for a workshop using an Ebauche technique and very simple objects...first time I've ever painted silver...or an egg!! not my forte, still life!! Had great fun, watching my students develop their techniques, and we all learned loads!
