Lovely Thalia good luck selling at the Artisan market.

Great result Thalia, time isn't important, it's the result that matters!

Much time well spent, Thalia, this is a very superb work.

Different for you Thalia, but beautifully done. Lovely.

Full of movement, colour and a delight to behold. Particularly love those clumps of sparkling blues Thalia.

This is beautiful Thalia, the abour of love of the is evident!

You are all so very encouraging! I was afraid I'd overworked it!!! Thanks, Barry, Alan, indeed that's the truth, but I don't normally paint slowly and thoughtfully!!! Thank you Cesare, very kind of you, thanks, Jim, different it certainly is as there are very few trees left here on Gozo [don't get me started on environmental issues on Malta!] Thank you Carole and Liezel for your very kind words. Much appreciated, all of you!

One your best Thalia - as usual painted with confidence and the movement is really eye catching.

Wonderful Thalia.

A great painting Thalia. I think you have got the bluebells just right and I really like the way you have handled the lights and darks on the tree trunks. I’m sure you will sell it straightaway at the market...

Love this Thalia, your trees are fabulous.

Love those bluebells, the shadows on the tree trunks , and the different greens, a great painting, Thalia.

I don't think I have ever spent so much time on a painting as small as this! 10x8 ins, it has been a labour of love and a delight to paint. Obviously not plein air [no bluebell woods here on Gozo!] a dear friend sent me several photos of Oxsted woods where he walks his dogs. I've had so much fun, getting it right, I will be painting some more. I've admired Martin Taylors' work for many years in The Artist, and his recent article was particularly helpful whilst painting this. It's destined for our Artisan Market celebrating the world wide Bee Fest on the 8th June!
