Free Range Bethlehem

This is a slightly bigger study, again very cropped of the chickens in 'Bethlehem'. The tableaux are set up at weekends in Advent, the buildings remain all year, inhabited by the various donkeys, sheep, goats ducks etc. A wonderful place to paint! Bethlehem overlooks the harbour of Mgarr, Gozo.

Fast moving effect obtained indeed. Lively and colourful work.

Lots going on here Thalia, gives the impression of the various chickens milling around, can see you enjoyed it. Art group this afternoon, if the unseasonal sunny wether continues I might pop out and do a sketch or two!

So colourful and engaging to the eye Thalia, all these hens in movement. Lovely poses and colours mixes showing the various shapes and forms, and cockerels strutting about in the sunlight!
