Lovely, Thalia.

Very atmospheric, Thalia. I like the swirls in the sea. It makes the scene more dramatic. Washing machine??

You are so lucky to have such beautiful weather and scenery Thalia, I've had a walk round a rather wet and bedraggled garden this morning looking for Lilly beatles, found one of the little blighters. Your paintings are lovely and I will never get tired of looking at the different colours that you produce with them 😀

You caught that beautifully Thalia. Simple, striking and direct. Nice work.

Looks great Thalia. I'm confused by the washing machine too, is it the swirling sea?

Beautiful, Thalia. I love the freedom and spontaneity and the lovely palette you’ve used.

A scene worthy of painting often Thalia, this is gorgeous.

Beautifully painted Thalia.

Thank you so much everyone for looking at my work and making such lovely heart warming comments. Sorry to be a long time replying, internet playing up and really busy framing pictures for my exhibition! Thank you Shirley, Seth, Gudrun, Linda, Jim, Margaret, Ellen, Sandra, Alan and Maureen, I really feel for you if you can't get outside to paint! It makes such a huge difference to how one see's things. Really do wish I could send you some of our sunshine, but not quite so much of our extreme summer heat!!! This only took about 25 mins to paint as i only used 2 colours, RS, and FU plus White, it almost painted itself!

Great scene I would never tire from. This is very striking in limited palette Thalia.

thanks, Carole, really kind of you. Amazing fun working with just those colours, seeing how far i could get in a very short space of time!

Lovely. I like the colours

Thank you Dorothy! A very limited palette!

I have to start early now, so very hot! This was started at 7 this morning, and I had to stop by 7.30! What attracted me was the glare of the sun on the water in the bay, and the more or less monochrome scene as the sun got higher...and hotter! Several boats shot out of the little harbour, and disturbed my initial flat wash for the sea... then I decided to put in the curving wakes they left to liven up the scene. Sorry I'm so often painting this scene!!! Tell me if it's boring you!
