I agree with Heather, plus the colours are lovely. The darker foreground really emphasises the sunshine beyond.

Wonderful, Thalia, there seems to be interaction in the movement of the clouds and the sea and your darks underpin it all. Terrific.

Painted from my friend Simon Johnson's photo with his kind permission, this is another view of our beautiful ancient salt pans. I love the composition and the dramatic forground. My village, Zebbug, can be seen, top left. I used a very limited palette of just 6 colours, plus white.
