Marsaxlokk Deroliction

Always recognisably yours, lovely.

Love the way you have portrayed those walls, which hold an abundance of narratives Thalia.

I always like your colour combinations, full of light and brightness.

Thank you Heather, Carole and Stephen, indeed, narratives on those walls, there was actually writing above where I've placed the seated people!!!

Like how you have caught the antique feel of these old buildings.

The view is as complex as the name! Love the way you've given the buildings 'age'

Thank you very much, Stephen, Willie and Gudrun, I really stopped in my tracks when I saw them, but I suspect they are due for renovation, like a lot of Marsaxlokk!

Painted from a photo I took on a recent visit to this famous old fishing village in Malta. It has a huge market, and many areas have been renovated recently...but not this bit! There was a brightly painted seat, red and white...I put it in, then decided the whole picture needed people to liven up the scene! Loads of glazing and knife work made the old walls come to life!
