This well known elderly fisherman is frequently seen bringing in his night's catch, in one of the few true Maltese wooden boats. I painted this from a photo and a sketch I made in the harbour. I have painted this before, but in oils. I did this watercolour last week, as a demo whilst invigilating at my exhibition.
