For the palette, I painted over a Venetian red ground, and it shows through a lot! Doing a lot of experimental stuff at the moment, as it's too hot and sticky to do much plein air....and, if I'm really honest, I'm diving too, and exhausted afterwards...the joys of getting old!!!
