Fantastic Thalia. Great figures, and the way you've captured the shadows is so skilful.

That's super, Thalia. Love the brilliant sunlit effect.

You are so lucky living there Thalia! Love the deep shadow and the the white t shirt is a brill touch.

Complicated scene well captured, with just the right amount of detail, one of our best I think Thalia.

Excellent Thalia, I particularly like the man in the white shirt and his dark shadow.

This is lovely Thalia, love your simplification of the furniture just treating the shadow area as shapes and the warm and cool colours work nicely together.

Very good Thalia. The chap on the phone's body position is perfect. You've just caught that moment!

Love too. I'll meet you in front of the cathedaral Thalia. I can smell the coffee already...(-:

Another beauty Thalia, love it.

You never fail to delight Thalia and give the viewer a longing to be in the picture. Love everything but particularly the architecture.

Awww, thanks everyone, I really wish you could all come and enjoy a coffee with me here! Everyone here seems too busy to come out with Urban Sketchers any more! Thank you Michael, Lewis, Carole, Stephen, Alan, Barry, Louise[phone cameras are a boon!!!] Sandra and Carole, yes Jim, that's a date! And you're all invited to taste that coffee! I really do so appreciate your comments, I frequently knock myself about, not knowing whether paintings are working, your comments help to sort my brain out!

Beautiful work, Thalia.

I love this Thalia, the light and the composition is just perfect!

So well done, Thalia.

Great use of light and figures and so much movement.

Fabulous work Thalia! I really like this one!

I have painted and sketched here in Piazza San Gorg So many times plein air, but this was painted from a photo as the fleeting moments of the action...the two chatting and the guy on the phone were too fast! I also liked the deep shadows and shapes made by all the tables and chairs and plants, and thought the composition was rather different.
