Great scene of something so very familiar, Thalia. The colours work particularly well for me, and the washing on the balconies adds such a believable note. A real eye-catcher, for sure. Bri

Brings back fond memories Thalia, one of my favourite places to visit. Great work.

Thank you Brian, a lovely comment! Mine too, Alan! You need to come and see it now, so much has been renovated and changed, some good, some not so good. They took away the main gate entrance....and some of the 'modern' as usual doesn't fit with the old. That's progress i guess! Still a wonderful old city though!

Great work Thalia 😀

Love the colours, vibrancy and the down to earth 'washing day' Thalia.

Beautifully rich and lovely Thalia

This is a slightly different take on a scene I have painted previously, I have altered colours slightly and put a different set of people in at the bottom of the street. This is a backstreet in Valletta, capitol city of Malta. 10x7ins, not so small as some!!!
