Excellent Thalia.

So good to see the painting in situ Thalia, especially in all that sunshine..not that I'm at all envious! The painting's a beauty!

Interesting to see your set up, I don't think I have ever tried to paint in oils outdoors. Struggled to find your viewpoint at first but then spotted that you are looking a little to the left, almost feels as though we are looking over your shoulder!

A delightful composition, Thalia.

Looks lovely there. I can't feel my toes as they have turned white with cold! Great colours.

Thank you very much, David and Louise. Stephen, I find water colours a huge challenge here plein air as they dry just where and when you want to paint wet in wet, although I do use them if I'm in the shade, so oils are the easier option. Acrylics I'm not fond of anyway and they dryon the brush and ruin them. I'd love to have you all over here as you're so cold in UK!!! Thanks Rachel, CA Jones and the white toed Gudrun! I've painted this before in the winter, when there's water to the left and it makes a much better composition. Now we're getting to the desert season!!!

How lovely it looks in the sunshine Thalia, it does look complicated!!

Lovely! It’s great painting outdoors here as well, except the gloves and scarf sometimes get in the way! It looks like another cracker Thalia. Well done as ever.

This has got to be one of the hardest plein airs I've done! The light was changing so fast, so many colours and the sun too hot now after 08.00 if I'm not in the shade! Mustn't grumble, really enjoyed myself! But a very complicated scene!
