Morning Coffee

Morning Coffee

I wouldn't alter anything Thalia, love your colours and that tree is just right, it doesn't overpower any of the painting. 👍😀

Lovely fresh feel to this - leave alone - great work.

I agree with Linda and Michael - this is lovely the way it is.

Me too, leave alone Thalia it's fine as is. Very attractive scene simply but well, caught.

I'd say the same Thalia, it's great as it is.

Love it. Especially how you've rendered the people with just a few marks.

This has a great flow and heightening the bush would detract from the figures indulging in refreshments, a lovely touch Thalia.

Thank you everyone, i will leave it alone as you say! Painted early two mornings ago, been staring at me ever since, daring me to touch it, cheeky painting!!! Huge thank you, Linda, Michael, Margaret, Jim, Sandra, Lewis, and Carole. I really appreciate such helpful comments! My friend is Belgian, not Belian!!!!

lovely work - makes you want to be sat under the umbrella.

Really like this, Thalia

It looks great just like this Thalia.

Really fine painting Thalia.

I can hear the cups rattle and smell the coffee! You've given it just the right title. If you painted the church as a separate painting or given it another title yes you'd need to make the foreground objects less of a feature. But let it stay - it's lovely...

Good loose painting, Thalia, no need for more brushstrokes.

Good work, as always

Thank you, Len, I was under another hot here on Gozo in August! Thank you Maureen, Margaret, Carole, Chris, that's a very kind helpful comment! Thank you, Cesare and Timothy, you're all so very kind!

Hang on Studio Wall

Plein Air with my Belian Urban Sketchers friend in Piazza San Gorg, Rabat. I have not adjusted this at all...yet. Not sure whether to heighten the foreground shrub a little??? The huge Baroque church is almost obscured by the red umbrellas!
