Beautiful colours Thalia. The heat and sunshine really come through your paintings :) It’s very difficult to replicate a painting and be happy with it.. I always prefer my first... efforts!!! It looks fab Thalia and I’m sure they’ll be chuffed to bits with it.

This is a commissioned watercolour from the exhibition. The purchaser liked the washes on the sea but not the pedalos and asked me to copy[!] the washes and picture without pedalos. I have tried!!!The washes are similar as far as I can get them. I have now removed the pedalos on the original ... I'm amazed at what one can do with gouache.
