It’s very good Thalia has that Turner look about it , for me Seago was beyond genius his work was spellbinding

I like this Thalia, colour and brush strokes.

And why not be influenced Thalia, they are the best... great expressive piece.

Yes it certainly has the old masters look about it, beautiful colours.

Great work and turner does not come to mind as i look at it. Theres an almost abstract vision going on here which hints at a subject. I know turner often created a vanishing into smoke but this has a more modern look than him. Im unfamiliar with seago.

Lovely expressive painting which makes the best use of a limited palette.

Very impressive painting, Thalia.

I totally agree, Dermot, about Seago. I have done dozens, literally, of studies of his works, they are grafted into my style in many ways. Perhaps, Michael, you might like to look at his work. He was indeed a genius! Thank you so very much Dermot, Dennis, Carole, Margaret, Alan, Linda and Michael for your kind words. Ok, Alan, most of my studies have been in oils...maybe I should now look closely at Seago and Turners' water colours....hmmm not easy but very inspiring as they are!!!

Very nice Thalia. Lovely style and palette.

Thank you Michael. Limited palette is exactly what i strive to achieve

Yes. I certainly shows you are influenced by the great masters. Love the colours.

Thank you Gudrun and Dorothy, you guys keep my spirit up more than I have words to say

I painted this a while ago. I think it shows how I...and so very many other artists...have been influenced by Turner! And Edward Seago...and Monet and...!
