I like the subject and the title. You’ve described them so well

Like it Tessa, great subject.

Fabulous how you have taken something we see every day and made it special.

Thank you so much Margaret, Diana, Lesley and Jennifer for your kind comments. It was a source of much amusement in class and good natured banter, but I think you need to challenge yourself to paint something different and try to different styles at least occasionally.

What a great subject Tessa, really excellent work. How many of us would ignore a subject like this I wonder?

Thanks Alan. I must admit to being rather pleased with my water pipes!

What a unusual subject and so well carried out.

Im amazed that you found such inspiration in the ordinary. And made it work!! Well done

This is a great learning how to nurture your artist’s eyes! Refresh your eyes and minds To appreciate daily things! It is very Eye-catching.

Like it a lot!

Great title Tesssa a nd love the very original subject matter. Love the design and the way that they look as if they are talking to each other.

Thank you so much Stephen, David, Yoko, Heather and Carole. So glad you can all see something good in this, and I like the idea of them chatting together Carole! Hadn’t thought of that, but it’s fascinating how we all see things differently.

Unusual subject but in your hands makes an effective painting Tessa.

Thank you Shaun. I’m not sure many would want it on their wall but it was fun to do!

An unusual subject but so well painted Tessa.

Thank you Tracy.

Had half an hour left at end of class last week and completed today. This is 8x6” oil on canvas board. I normally try to paint quite loosely but thought on this I would see if I could be more precise.
