Well done with this, especially like the shadow colour changes on the mountain

My son's favourite place having stayed there with his school. NOt in that weather!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Diana and Neil for your comments. I like to paint snow but am very bored with being frozen in at the moment!! Icy pavements are no good to over seventies, I'm afraid. As for the dreaded Saddleback and Sharp Edge on Blencathra I fear it is better viewed from ground level at my age. I never tire of the lakeland scene though whatever the weather,

Good grief Terence, you actually live in one of these areas that gets regularly snowed or frozen in do you! As you have so rightly said beautiful to see, not good to have to move around in, particularly for oap's! Or for most of the rest of us as well who don't want to end up with broken bones in falls and trips! This a fabulous view, like a winter dreamscape for the rest of us who don't get snowed in except once in a blue moon!
