Very tranquil (and cold). I like the simplicity

Two very good watercolours, the snow is perfect, well done.

Thanks for the kind comments; this was painted on Saunders Waterford Rough (12" x 9") ideal for dry brush work. It is one of my this year's Xmas card paintings. As a minor point I used Winsor's Perylene Green in the mixes for the trees and can't praise it too highly.

I don't paint many watercolour landscapes, too much green and I'm running scared ,so thanks for the tip on Perylene green, might give it a go.

Lovely sky, crisp snow, beautiful.

lovely

Thanks again for the appreciative remarks, I keep trying, one day I hope to master watercolour.

Hello Terence, Thank you for your kind comments on my work. This watercolour of yours has some lovely tones and brushwork, a really nice snowscene, well done. Regards, Joe
