Thank you all for your kind comments, much appreciated. As with the other paintings in this portfolio, it is on Saunders Waterford 140lb paper using a very limited palette. As for exhibiting this painting Maureen and Bill, it is too much like the Rowland Hilder original to be saleable without risking copyright infringment I fear.

This was my third Xmas card picture of this year. I can't claim much originality as I cribbed the basic idea from Rowland Hilder and altered it to put my own slant on the subject. I only wish it was half as good as the original!
