Thanks Ros, I'm glad you like it. The rendition of it on the screen is a trifle disappointing to me as it lacks some of the darks which I laboured hard to get in. That's the problem with photographing pastels I find, some colours do not render true.

It was a rather dull day when I visited the garden (along with a horde of other visitors!) and the water lilies were not out but I was captivated by the softer, subtler view of the famous lake and the small bridge. It is painted on my usual 500 grit wet and dry paper mounted on card.it is 14" x 12".
