I think it's a question of...What are a great many people doing to our planet, and What are the few in a position to do something about it, doing in not taking action ? What is the answer????? I feel certain though, that the planet will survive....I'm not so sure about the population's survival though. Tragic, I agree entirely, but we will have brought it or allowed it to be brought, on ourselves. Nature is much wiser and more powerful than us idiots here on earth! A bold image and design....you are obviously a caring person......with a very nice gallery too.

Disturbing, as intended.

Making a rubbish tip of it...always cut the little round things that come off the necks of bottles etc. the birds get their beaks caugh in them and starve...we get fined for littering...good thought provoking painting

How we are trashing the lives of all the world's flora and fauna is terribly sad and disturbing and you've portrayed it well. It's up to everyone to do their bit, not to consume more than they need, but especially for wealthier regions, I think. Keep showing this to as many people as you can. It could a make a difference in the viewers' attitudes.

Your painting say,s it all ! We go about our daily lives but not realiesing what harm we are doing to the enviorment and it,s habbitat. All of nature has a role to play and it,s being destroyed, some not intentional and other,s just dont care? Maybe we should learn to live alongside with nature and her creature,s and not think we are superior to them. Or maybe it,s to late, but we will all suffer? As they saying goes "what goes around comes around" ? A fine painting with a stern message, really well thought out and hit,s home! Regaurd,s Harry.

I was inspired to paint this after learning that in the South Seas seagull chicks were found with toothbrusshes in the gullets, plus Computers, Washing Up Bowls and every other kind of detritis. What are we doing to our planet?
