Wonderful portrait with so much life in it! Thank you for your comments about my horse pastel, and your comments about liveliness are so true! I know what you mean (can see it in your portrait!), but as yet am unable to give my work that much-needed sparkle! I am working on it tho, and hope to be able to bring a bit more 'personality' to my work in future. It is so hard tho, as I taught myself to draw and paint from photos, and it is so hard to reak the habit of copying what I see!!!

I only wish i could do a portrait like this, it really draws you into his character, thank you for your comments on time to rest, i really appreciated it :-).

Sylvia, this is a super portrayal. I enjoy looking at your gallery very much. Hope you have resolved any portfolio/gallery/twitchy finger on 'delete'problems now!!
