Verry Pretty.... What I have been saying... I wish it were a little bigger, so I could see better..

David Hockney is so versatile, never stops creating and exploring - one of my favourite artists. Sylvia….did you do this after you’d seen his at Salt’s Mill? I tried Brushes but didn’t have the patience to figure out all the layers. I’ve got quite a few other apps but hardly use them now. Forgot to say I like this - simple yet effective.

Thanks everyone I think I did it before I saw the Hockneys Marjorie. Eric won't it go bigger if you put your finger on it and spread...if you know what I mean. , it does on my small iPad.

Oh yes me to loved seeing his work in London exhibition.. this is lovely Sylvia. Beautiful colours and glows

Very nice image. I’ve used Brushes a few times but never produced anything worthy of posting. It is also useful for trying things out in oil/acrylic etc paintings- you just import a photo of a WIP and then you can scribble over it to your hearts content.

Love the colours, they compliment each other beautifully.

Great job Sylvia… I saw Hockey’s iPad drawings many years ago at the RA… I was most impressed!

Really good result and well done you for trying something different - the comments on the Forum have been so interesting to follow.

Lovely interesting comments ,thank you.

Love the colour palette, strangely similar to my scheme for my front garden! ( I learnt to use Photoshop, which is far too complicated. ) well done!

Beautiful! I think this kind of digital art is closest to watercolour, and it does have that feel.

A very colourful piece with a difference Sylvia. It’s so good to be so versatile.

I like it, think it's very effective.

So vibrant Sylvia.

Thank you everyone .

I used Brushes to create this. I did it some time ago, I wanted to find out about digital painting. I found that it was just another method of creating a picture, Brushes was used by David Hockney.
