These flowers just crave being drawn and painted don't they Sylvia? I love this stage as well as the full blooming time. You have achieved that lovely shape, beauty!

Almost the last pic I have done for Collaborators and Rogues themed book. This is in coloured pencil. Sunflowers are so rewarding a cheapo pack of seeds and amazing flowers , all summer they smile, then they very gracefully decay. Leaving behind seed heads to feed the birds.
