It's good to look back at old sketch books I read that en plain sketches are much more memorable than photographs. Maybe it's because of the time taken to capture the atmosphere. I really like your sketch/ painting.

Thank you Diana. I have about 15 sketch books full of my memories. Much more intense than any photo graph. I then try and use the sketches for the basis of a painting.

Done many years ago in an A 3 Pink Pig Sketchbook...somewhere in Scotland ...could be Plockton could be Tobermory. Not sure. Certainly not an amazing sketch and I wish I knew where . But re discovering ancient work. This is mixed media, ink , water colour , wax resist and scribble
