Snowy woodland

Comments

I can see a great example of creating the texture to make an interesting art effect! I like it very much, the texture adds a lot of compliment to this woody snowy scenery Sylvia ;)

I wish I was so creative Pog but being the honest soul that I am this was painted on top of one I had painted over. Consequently as it had been done in rthick paint...the under one it created the texture with no help from me....

You have achieved wonderful textures with this one, Sylvia.

A lovely painting Sylvia and good use of paper overpainting a older ones

Almost monochrome and exactly portrays a wintry woodland.

The trees are superb. Nice one.

Big thanks everyone lovely comments I do appreciate them.

A lovely texture, Sylvia. when I first saw it, I thought it was stitchwork. An over painting it maybe, it just goes to show what re-cycling can obtain.

It doesn't matter if it was a beautiful accident Sylvia it worked and it's yours. Well done it's lovely.

Carol and Chris ,thank you .

Ooh lovely Sylvia!

Brilliant sense of depth

Thank you Diane.

Beautiful 😍 I saw lots of trees looking like this today and thought how pretty ✨️💕

That has captured the cold beautifully Sylvia. Its not snowing here yet!

Faye ,Alan Thank you. It's not the snow I dislike as Faye says it's pretty, it's all the disruption and icy roads...wish I could hibernate. .

Great work! It was a bold decision keeping to black and white, but it works very well.

Thank yo7 Bill.

I really like your painting. Several tones have created a full colour volume. I feel as if I have been immersed in the atmosphere of this mysterious, silent and beautiful
