What a lovely summer scene Sylvia, you must have a great knowledge of flowers, mine is nil... That sign post could start a trend, loads of that finger style around me.

Echoes of summer. A beautiful colourful painting, Sylvia.

Thank you every one , kind of you to look and make comments. Yes Alan I have had an interest in flowers both wild and cultivated for more years than I care to mention. So I I can conjour up shapes and colours to add to my pics.

Lovely painting, in colour & composition. Roll on Summer!

It's a beauty Sylvia. Happy memories of warm summers!

I have the beginnings of a wild flower meadow area in the garden and this is how I would like it to look Sylvia....lovely.

Gorgeous painting Sylvia, so many beautiful colours remind me of summer.

How joyful Sylvia, heartwarming, painting sick of foggy dreary days.

Love it, Sylvia.

Thank you everyone...

Lovely, loose and exuberant painting, Sylvia - a good one!

Lovely feel good warm summer feel to it, very nice indeed.

Thank you Thea, Andre an Lynne .

This is a real eye catcher, Sylvia. Beau-ti-ful!

What I like about this is that the flowers, whether intentionally or unintentionally, have all been strategically placed to form a great composition. Lovely Sylvia.

Thanks for comments Mia and Michael. Probably unintentionally Michael. But a riot of flowers compose them selves .

Gorgeous scene Sylvia. Not only the flowers, which would cheer you up all year round, but the composition is so pleasing. Love those dark greens in the background.

nice feel to this painting...summer

Thank you Frank.

I really like the textures, Sylvia. The flowers are beautiful and delicate. Thank you for your comment about my Harris pastels.

Nice of you to look and comment Roger. Your paintings of Harris are just great. Harris really is a magic place.

Hang on Studio Wall

Another resurrection from 2009. This is a wild garden I pass frequently. Though I has been tidied of late,.old sign posts ( probably pinched ) sit in the middle of it.... large acrylic on canvas. I do enjoy finding old pics .
