Nice…..think I see a little cat……

Cat, cat...where?

Two little eyes watching me - under the tree to the right.

I must try that because it has turned out super !!!

And if it doesn't work David ,pour another gin and you don't care .

Lovely, yes, I can see a cat, lower centre to right of tree.

This is lovely Sylvia, it’s spontaneous and no fiddling that why it’s worked no doubt the big G&T help just a tad. Nowt wrong with a bit of yer autumn colours a northern lass like you should know that .

Just seen him Denise...the one who raided my bins last night...follows me everywhere .

Keep drinking the Gin Sylvia. ! A great spontaneous result indeed.

Excellent Sylvia, nice 🐱

Oh I will Chris...that's a Rabbit Stephen...

Something no one needs to tell Sylvia, or me: keep drinking the gin. You can entirely rely on that: I've never met Sylvia, but I think we really do need to get sloshed together one day. I once painted an oil when entirely stewed - it wasn't a Rembrandt knock-off by many a mile, but it had something -- I can't recommend it as a guide to painting, but think that while you can't write anything sensible when as widdled as a squirrel, you probably can drown your inhibitions and produce something you can defend as an intentionally conceived piece of work in painting. It would of course be beyond daft to rely on drink to help you paint - 'cause if you did, you'd never again be able to paint without it. But now and then - don't knock it: just don't waste too much paint in piddled practice.

Cheers Robert...I think.

Sometimes the unplanned ‘just let’s do something fun’ works out very well, as here, because we don’t put any pressure on ourselves. Yup I see the moggie too! There’s a chap in our art group who can spot a dog in anyone’s painting , and of course once seen, can’t be unseen! Good one Sylvia.

Haven’t seen Robert’s rat for ages……

OMG! I’ve just seen another cat! In front of the other one! And I haven’t had any gin - all gawn!

So very good Sylvia.

I’m just going to get the gin! There is a cat hiding there, ( look at his eyes peering out). And a peacock hiding at the back on the left, and two people riding a motorbike with wind-blown hair at the back on the right. I think I might need a whiskey to remedy the gin!!! Good one Sylvia!

Full of life and so spontaneous Sylvia.

Thanks for all the commenting everyone, well the ones of you still sober, any pink elephants rearing up their trunks. May be re christen it Sylvia's zoo.

This has aroused a great response, and rightly so. Perhaps you've created a new genre Sylvia (maybe not TOTALLY new). What shall we call it...soused-ism?? Never mind all that, this is a good painting.

Great quickness!

Gin and watercolour seem to work well together!

I see the black cat - luck must have been on your side, not to mention the innate talent. Then there is the peacock on the left! Lovely energy in this!

I like quick, quick, quick -excellent result

More thank yous...maybe an An Inebriates art movement .piddled as newts and painting animals that are not there...

Wonderful freedom…..shooting from the hip here Sylvia, glad you missed the cat! Hiccup!

Cat, cat....what cat Fiona ?

Great movement in this Autumnal scene, Sylvia. I see a peacock's head and neck with wings about to open, middle ground far left.

A peacock Carol....? Here we go again ,,,Sylvs Zoo.
