This was an art club challenge. It is 'very loosely' based on a photo of an Italian village on San Mamete Lake Garda . My painting is my interpretation of the scene, letting my imagination go a little bit wild in the process! As I rarely do buildings, I rather enjoyed having a go at this. Painted in acrylics.

In late 2017 I joined an acrylic art class as a beginner and I've been painting ever since. I particularly enjoy impressionism, expressionism and fauvism and a lot of my art work reflects this. I also enjoying painting portraits. I would like to thank all POL members who help and encourage me.
