Bookshops by the Seine, Paris

I began this about two years ago but was over awed by the detailing involved in painting all those books. I got put off. When I began this time, some of the colours had actually faded because of being absorbed into the paper. The trees were late autumn and therefore looked rather depressing. I therefore radically changed it to make it more alive and colourful. Water colour on paper. This is my last painting for 2021. My warmest good wishes to you all for a great 2022 ahead of you.
