Thank you Fiona, Carole and Romila. I had to try and create the texture of the damaged wall and this was the best that I could do. Challenging and good fun trying to recreate on paper in paint, something so old.

I came across this house whilst walking in the streets of the village. It took me a while to decide how I wanted to paint it. I have painted the walls and various elements in different colours over each other over time; until now I seem to be satisfied. I also used a gel to give the effect of the broken and damaged walls of the house.
