Just brilliant!!! I love the suggested tree's, the billowy clouds and the understated cattle, at least I hope they are cattle and I haven't just embarrassed myself. May I ask which blue you use in your skies? A really lovely painting.

Great composition

It always brightens my day when one of your paintings pops up, Stephen, and this is another wonderful one - great sky, really great trees and the suggestion of cattle is just right. To top it all it's bright, sunny - in fact everything it isn't outside here today!

Another great painting, Steve. I'm going to have a go capturing the light as you do so well, your pictures are so light and bright without being garish. No doubt it will take me at least 5 or 6 hours to your one hour painting but as it's mostly very flat here in East Yorkshire with big skies as it is in parts of Norfolk/Suffolk, the scenery has similarities. It looks so simple but I realise it's not. It's also the little touches you do of grasses, sunshine etc. which work so well. Your web site has some lovely images.

Really beautiful, Stephen. Love the partitioning of the painting into the various assymetrical portions. It's really effective in creating and maintaining the interest of the viewer.
