Thanks Dennis, it's near Southport. One of the few places that red squirrels live in England, although I didn't see any.

Many thanks Ibolya, the sea was that sort of colour and the structure far right must be some sort of oil platform. It's amazing what you learn, painting on site isn't it?

Stopped off at Formby on the way home. Lots of excited school children on the beach, of course it is the last week of term, so school trips galore. Enjoyed trying to capture the moment with this little sketch.
