Tusks at Dusk

Tusks at Dusk

Love how you’ve painted the elephant. The lower half of the body is so effectively achieved Linda. Also admire the title.

Thanks Carole.

Linda this I’d absolutely beautiful, the background is great but the tusker is superb. Elephants are not the easiest of animals to paint and can easily look like a grey blob, your however is spot on.

Love it … and the sand storm!

Colours are great Linda, a powerful painting.

I like the title as well as the painting!

Many thanks Paul, Heather, Marjorie and Robert. It just shows that it is worth going back and improving old paintings. This one was particularly difficult as it is an imaginary animal, inspired by a South African bank note and a photo of Kilimanjaro, together with a visit to Amboseli Game reserve.

You have captured the power of the animal so well, Linda. Lovely work.

Thank you so much Anne.

Loads of atmosphere and movement in this painting Linda, lovely composition and colours! peace & love, God bless, Andy

Thank you Andy.
