Hang on Studio Wall

This is a painting of the natural bridge at Bryce Canyon, USA. Bryce is the most colourful of the canyons in my view and I wanted a more unusual view than the usual Hoodoos. The rock is limestone, with a sandstone wash over the top, so it glows with shades of pink and tangerine in the reflective light. It is part of the series "In search of wilderness.
