I like it very much Sian, especially the sun bursts.

Lino cutting is fun as you said Sian and this is a good example of a lovely result that you can achieve. Beautiful blue and the yellows in the photo look like gold.

Sian, I'm curious to know what reduction Lino cutting is? I like this very much. It has a 1930's feel yet also it's contemporary.

Thank you, Caroline. A reduction lino-cut is where you reduce the same sheet of lino each time you add a colour. (instead of having a separate sheet of lino for each colour) For this one I cut out the white lines then printed it pale yellow. Next I cut away the bits I wanted to remain pale yellow and overprinted in strong yellow yellow. Then cut more away and did a final print in blue. All printed by just rubbing by hand, no press. I look forward to seeing yours if you decide to have a go.

Reduction lino cut print done over 10 weeks at the wonderful Retirement Education Centre. Blue because it is actually a lovely shade of blue with the two yellows. Work? Well, it was great fun. Showing turn of the century Bedford.
