Wow. A new style Sian; I like it

I like this one Sian and I think you have made great use of the pencil sketch you refer to. If I may suggest an improvement perhaps a few more 'knobbles' on the branches? Thank you for you kind comments on my gallery and don't worry about the size of the sketch book you are using. I have just bought my A3 pad and I have found it liberating! Don't forget that you don't have to fill the whole page, just enjoy having more space to express yourself.

21.12.10 . Painted from the pencil sketch I posted. Only 3 colours used, lemon yellow, yellow ochre, ultramarine, and an attempt to try a different style - or find my style. The trees overlook the Ouse valley and Olney , famous for its church spire which featured in the early TV test card. Now, a new white school also catches the attention on the horizon. The third light building is the bridge. Unfortunately this painting was done on top of a false start (using texture in acrylics for the wind turbine picture that I posted recently) and I did not manage to incorporate all the lines below - which look worse in the photo when blown up. Still, lesson learned and it is posted here for the record.
