I think this looks better than my original! Has a quality of 'looking into a fire' about it! Did you outline it in black? It's v effective.

Great shapes, beautifully painted Sian! If you mix ultramarine with a little blob of white it will be smoother.

Inspired, but not copied, by a friend's glasses case. I just made it up as I went along and hoped it would be a good exercise for improving my skill in applying paint. But I still found the ultramarine very difficult to get smooth. And now I have the time to paint I don't have the eyesight that I used to have.
