I’ve said this before Shirley but viewing your paintings is like switching a light on, or the sun coming out. They radiate light and warmth, so lovely.

Absolutely stunning...in my opinion you can never get too thick with the paint!! that's what creates the vibrancy...unless obviously you want the muted tones and gentle atmosphere. This is smashing!

Water colour this afternoon. Getting a bit thick with the paint, after doing some acrylics yesterday. Hope to find a happy medium.

Always loved drawing and painting. Studied biology at UEA, PGCE at Sussex, then part-time art studies at Sussex and Brighton, including printmaking. Before Covid I gave a little weekly watercolour class for 7 years. Now I am using acrylics on canvas and paper en plein air whenever possible.
