Thank you, Siv for saying you could feel the warmth and scent - it was early summer and probably the only 10 days of warmth until now. If this weather continues I shall have to find some more sunny roses to keep me going in winter!!

This was growing on the terrace of the cottage we rent in the middle of France. Such a peaceful garden with cuckoos, woodpeckers, nightingales, red squirrels and wonderful scented roses - so soft and delicate. Just calling out to be painted.
